A renowned football player has a transpersonal experience during a game accident and is hounded by scientific authorities who want to remove his brain for to examine his astounding abilities.

Young ROBERT MILLARD (22) has a severe accident during a football game. While he is unconscious, he has an experience of bright light and the feeling of stepping out of his body and see the world as soft and floating, being ready to be molded by his hands. He is able to shoot the ball over the line at an impossible angle. It reminds him of something he encountered when he was a child.

Robert decides to pursue the reasons behind this special gift. He leaves the narrow home of his parents and accepts training at military service involving armed combat. He hopes he can find answers in extreme situations.

He is sent to Afghanistan. Despite the existential situations he finds himself involved in, there are none of the desired experiences that he hoped to have. Then one day he rescues a comrade of his company and also an Afghan family from a deadly explosion. He must have gone through a wall to defuse the grenade. There was no other explanation. He is shocked and even more baffled, full of doubts, which are confirmed by the military pastor who calls the event a divine intervention.

After coming home, Rob visits psychologists and psychiatrists for treatment. He is diagnosed in all kind of ways but nobody can help him, not even strong medication. Frustrated, he visits a pub to get drunk. A black construction worker asks to join him at the bar. They start to talk. Soon Robert notices that this man is different. The first time he receives some reasonable answers. JEFF, his new friend, describes the IN-BETWEEN Robert probably encounters, when he has his experiences. He explains that the real world is not solid and haS spaces in-between in which great powers lie. Jeff shows him different techniques to use with his innate ability to enter these spaces and even be able to use these powers. He shows him how to go beyond the solid of matter and to overcome gravity. On a meadow, they practice flying. Then he is even able to jump from a high bridge switching into a floating mode.

One day he crashes to the ground.
Robert is fed up with everything. He tries to forget JEFF and return to the normal world. From then on, the experiences actually stop.

Soon, he realizes that he is being hunted. He gets seized by Security Forces which bring him to a special division of a mental institution. There he gets interrogated and examined by scientists and is prompted to show his abilities. By accident, Robert gets that they want to extrude his brain to optimize the construction of a special machine with which they want to move into intermolecular structure and explore the inherent powers. It gets even worse when he discovers that Jeff is one of the scientists. He leaves the hospital and flees. Jeff awaits him, explaining to him, that he was there to help him.

Jeff and Robert decide to hide. They spend some time in the mountains, lodging in a very remote chalet. There Robert accidentally meets DIANA, a botanist, who is staying in a tent nearby. He falls in love with her. She tries to seal him off from Jeff, this “crazy” genious. While he sleeps with her in her abode, Jeff disappears. It seems that he was badly wounded and forcefully abducted. Somebody must have informed the authorities.

Robert leaves the mountain and Diana and searches for Jeff. He encounters the machine and a bunch of desperate and helpless scientists. The Quantum-Accelerator could go seriously out of control creating a huge black hole which would threaten the very survival of mankind.

Are Robert’s abilities sufficient enough to stop the inevitable catastrophe?
